Warranty and Return Policy

Warranty
Coverage as per manufacturers warranty with proof of purchase. Warranty will be serviced by designated depots. Extended warranty is available at the time of purchase.

Bedding
Return of bedding is prohibited as defined in the provincial health act. For the same reason no loaner or replacement can be granted. When the units are to be repaired customers are charged freight cost to the factory one-way. Pick up and delivery from our warehouse to your home will be done under Midwest’s delivery policy. To honour warranty the mattress must be covered by a mattress pad and rotated monthly. Authorization to return or exchange must be approved by bedding companies representative.

Delivery
Delivery will be provided for a fee, as per Midwest’s delivery rates. Deliveries outside a radius of 100 km from Grande Prairie will be done by other companies who will not set up merchandise. You must notify Midwest at least two days in advance for in town deliveries, and 7 to 14 days from out of town deliveries. Upon delivery of products, a customer must sign to have received in good condition or must state the nature of damages or shortages. Any claims must be made within 24 hours.

Pick-Up
If concealed damage is found, return or call within 24 hours. Customer is responsible to return merchandise for repair or exchange. Midwest is not liable for any transit and handling damage after the goods leave our store.

Returns
No goods returned without authorization. Full refund if returned within 30 days from date of delivery, provided product is in new condition. Delivery charges are not included in refund. Goods returned 30 to 60 days from delivery date are subject to a 20% restocking fee and customer is responsible for fees related to return and cleaning of upholstered items, if needed, by a professional cleaner. No returns after 60 days from delivery date.

Layaways
20% deposit is required on layaways. Balance in full before delivery. Maximum layaway period is 90 days. The 20% deposit is nonrefundable, if order is canceled.

Special Orders
20% deposit is required on special orders. Balance in full before delivery. 20% deposit is nonrefundable, if special order is canceled.

NSF Charges
A $30 fee is charged for each returned cheque.

Used product
90 days parts and labour warranty on used appliances unless otherwise indicated. Products will be repaired or replaced at Midwest discretion. Used furniture is sold “as is” and no returns.
